i am getting 72 marks in chemical engineering but have 63% in b.tech. what are my chances to get into a psu?

hi,

see psus generally shortlisted candidates based on gate score, however at the time of interview, group discussion if your performance is really well, then your b.,tech scores may not matter. now cutoff scores changes year to year and depends on various factors like number of vacancy, question difficulty level, number of participants etc.  vacancy for chemical engineering comes very less, compare to mechanical or electrical branch. however you need to apply for all of the vacancy what ever comes to make the best possible chances for selection.
