Hello student,

Hope you are in your best of health, so the answer to your question is :-

Yes, applicants with a visual impairment of equal to or greater than 40% are ineligible for the NEET UG test. It is not limited to visual impairments alone, but also to other disabilities, including those that have been authorised.

When it comes to admissions, all medical colleges across the world follow MCI criteria. Every student who wants to use the PWD quota must be evaluated at one of the Disability Assessment Centers. To be eligible for the PWD quota, you must have this certificate from the centre. If this student has a physical examination and receives a certificate stating that he or she is not eligible under the Disabilities Act, no college will hire him or her since it is against the law.

Hope this helps!
