CAT and NMAT are different in terms of pattern and strategy.

In NMAT though the questions are easy but there are more number of questions than CAT. You should practice at least a couple of mocks to prepare your strategy accordingly.

In CAT the questions are relatively tougher and you have more types of questions so that requires a different strategy all together.

So do not mix both the examination. I hope you have covered all of the basics of Quantitative Ability, Verbal abilities and reasoning. You should give some mocks of NMAT first and identify your strengths and weaknesses and prepare a strategy accordingly to score more than 200 marks.

After that you can appear for CAT by giving at least a couple of mocks and similarly analysing your performance.

All the best!

Thank you Sir for your suggestion, I am very good on basics just haven't given enough mocks but a considerable amount and also given nmat to so any other suggestions would also be accepted. Thank you!

These exams broadly differs on the pattern. In NMAT you have to attempt 120 questions in 120 minutes that requires speed as well as accuracy. Given you can covered the basics you just need to focus on your strategy for the test that you might have developed through mocks. Rest keep yourself calm and confident.

All the best!

Give atleast couple of Mock NMATs. That will be good for you to understand the pattern.
