In order to appear for NDA exam you need to pass your 12th class. 

Below is the age criteria for the exam

Age Limits:

Minimum Age: 16.5 years

Maximum Age: 19.5 years

You need to pass class 12th in order to be eligible for the National Defence Acedemy examination.Apart from this there is an age limit of 19.5 years. NDA examination is held twice a year so you can choose the most convinent time suitable to you.
