if you want to pursue mba , you can go for the integrated courses which will be the best option . if you want a good package then you will have to pursue mba from the top college. the companies take students from top colleges and offer them packages int he figure of lakhs . so there is no limit of salary package once you get admission in top college. 

if you talk about opportunity , then i must tell you , mba is one of best courses . there is lot of scope in it which will obvoiusly depend on your capabilities.
