The eligibility criteria for NDA exam is:

• The age of the candidate have to be between 16.5 to 19.5 years
• For Indian Army the educational qualification is that the candidate need to have passed 12th standard from State Education Board or a University.
• And for air force and naval candidate should have passed 12th standard with Physics and Mathematics from State Education Board or a University.

Candidates should be between the age group of 16.5 and 19.5 years to apply for NDA as your age is 18 years you are eligible for NDA. There is no age relaxation for reserved category candidates in the NDA examination. If you are born between July 2, 2002, to July 1, 2005 you will be eligible for NDA-1 2021 and if you are born between January 2, 2003, to January 1, 2006 you will be eligible for NDA-2 2021. For Indian Army candidates should have passed 12th standard from State Education Board or a University and for Air Force and Naval candidates should have passed 12th standard with Physics and Mathematics from State Education Board or a University.

You can give NDA examination even if you are 18 years old .

This is because,
The upper age  limit to be eligible for NDA is 19.5 years and you are still 18 years and so eligible

And it doesn't matter even if you are doing BA ,what matters is your 10 plus two qualification.

NDA eligibility criteria says that:-

* For army , candidates with educational  qualification of 10 + 2 in any stream  are eligible. To be eligible for NDA examination for Navy and Air force, only candidates having educational  qualification of 10 + 2 with Physics and Maths are  eligible.

*one must be  in the age group of 16.5 to 19.5 years old to be eligible.

* one must be Indian to be eligible .

* Only male candidates are eligible and the candidate must be unmarried .

The selection process consist of 2 stages :-

* Qualify the written examination :- it consist of 2 papers :-
Mathematics
General Ability Test

You get 2 hours and 30 minutes for each paper.

*SSB interview :- If you clear written examination then you will called for a 5 day SSB interview

If you clear SSB interview then you will have you to go through medicals to check your fitness if you clear the medicals as well then congratulations you are in.
