see you have to take science in 10+2 course with mandatory subjects of mathematics, physics, chemistry and english. however certainly you have appear in b.arch or others b.tech entrance test as well. the most popular engineering entrance test In India is jee main, however b.arch students have to appear in jee main paper 1 and jee main paper 2 exam, jee main paper 2 is for b.arch and b.planning course only. apart form jee main paper 2 another exam is NATA which is accepted in most colleges for b.arch admission.

so now you see that for admission to b.arch you have to work also for jee main paper 2 and NATA exam or any of the exam. so this is an entra preparation along with entrance test. now since you have to appear in jee main paper 1 exams , after qualifying it you can go for jee main paper 2. thus you have an option to select others engineering streams as well.
