Hello,
It's really very good that you are preparing for CLAT from class 11th only.
So you have good two years time. But than it depends on you how you use this time.
You should develop a habit of reading an english newspaper of your choice and try staying up to date with the latest news. Now since you have enough time, I think next step is getting your hands on a good static GK book (lucent, arihant etc. are easily available online). Next up is math!! I cant say it enough! Practicing math regularly is so important. And so is practicing logical reasoning questions. Buy good books and practice 20-30 questions from both sections. Last up is the legal section! For legal, you should know the basics of torts, contracts and criminal law. Again, buy a good book and learn the basics. A big hack for this section is past year question papers which are easily available online. Most of the questions are repititive so I think when you're done learning the basics, thats the first thing that you should do.
Best of luck.

Hey anivesh,

CLAT also know as Common Law Admission test is conducted for the admission to 17 national Law schools. This exam is conducted every year in the month of May. CLAT have 5 sections which are General knowledge and current affairs, Maths, Logical Reasoning, Legal reasoning and English.

As you are in class 11th now you have enough time to prepare for clat beforehand. I will suggest you to make a seperate time for CLAT.

Start your prepration by:-

1.Going through previous years question paper to understand the type of question asked.

2. Go through all the sections and analyse your weakness and start with the subject you are weak in

3. Make a time table give atleast an hour to each section.

4. Get some study material from any Institiute.

5.Give more emphasis on General knowldege section as it is very vast topic to cover. You can also take help of some gk books available in the market for example Lucent general knowledge book.

You have 2 years to prepare for CLAT. You can also join any near by institute who provide CLAT coaching but only after completing your 11th. Give your major time to your 11th and 12th as it is improtant thing to do at present.
