You can go for higher education abroad after your 12th. 

I suggest first decide which area and subject you would like to continue your higher education in.

For UG courses in the USA and a few other countries, you are required to score well in SAT or ACT. Along with it, you should showcase your English proficiency through the various English proficiency tests like IELTS and TOEFL.
