Hello,

The eligibility criteria to apply for All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) is as follows

  • Candidates must be a citizen of India
  • Only boy can apply for Class 9 admission.
  • Age of the Student should be between 13-15 years, as on March 31 in the year of admission.
  • Student must have passed Class 8 from a recognized school at the time of admission.

You can apply for AISSEE when you are in Class 9th provided you must meet the age criteria mentioned above. If your age is above 15 years as on March 31 in the year of admission then you are not eligible. If you clear the written test and Medical Examination then you will again have to study Class 9th.
