Students from other states cannot apply for TNEA and there are  no special entrance examinations for you.

Only chance for other state candidates can apply in tamilnadu counselling is that you should be children of Central government employees irrespective of your native, provided that your parents or guardians have been serving in tamilnadu continuously for the past 5 years at the time of submission of application. This should be supported by providing the certificate from the employer of the parent for verification at TFC. For tamilnadu counselling you should secure at least 50%.

If you do not qualify in these categories then you cannot apply for TNEA counselling. But you can opt for colleges in tamilnadu through management quota.
