You have to give the SAT exam. Being an NRI you cannot get into a college through NRI quota through JEE mains
And if you round up a good score like 1400-1500 in SAT you will get all the best engineering colleges in India with the kind of board makes you are expecting.
So give SAT and score High.
Or else if you are given it,
And if you have an adequate score you will get your dream college.
So focus on SAT.
JEE mains wouldn't help you.
