There are 3 types of course available -
Diploma in Fashion design- it will take 1-2 year and Cost you approx 2-4 lakh. It varies institution to institution.
UG course in Fashion-

Admission Criteria at Undergraduate Level

There is no dearth offashion designing coursesfor aspirants who want to start early They can take their pick from B.Sc in Fashion Design, B.A. (Honours) in Fashion Design and Diploma in Fashion Design.

Eligibility Criteria

Any 10+2 certificate holder, not more than 23 years of age and who has at least 50%marks in aggregate is eligible for UG fashion designing courses.

Common Entrance Test:

Further subdivided into Creative Ability Test, General Ability Test and Situation Test, this particular test delves deeper into the knowledge level and attitude of aspirants.

AIEED (All India Entrance Examination for Design):Conducted by ARCH Academy of Design, the AIEED test focuses on testing the creativity, design and aesthetic sense of aspirants. Interested candidates can apply for any of their preferred test modes  Offline and Online. This particular test has two rounds: Creative Ability Test and General Ability Test.

Design Aptitude Test (DAT):GD Goenka School of Fashion & Design conducts Design Aptitude Test (DAT) every year. FollowingNIFTand NID test pattern, this particular exam tests both intellectual and practical skills of aspirants.

Pearl Academy of Fashion Entrance Exam:Pearl Academy of Fashion conducts PAF test for admission to its 4-year degree courses in Fashion Design, Fashion Retail & Merchandising, Fashion Merchandising & Production, Jewellery Design, Textile Design and Communication Design.
