If you look at BCA Syllabus, the first year has Creative English, Communicative English, Foundational Mathematics, Basic Discrete Mathematics, Digital Computer Fundamentals, Operating Systems, Data Structures, Introduction to Programming, etc. These are mostly fundamentals that help you transit to Computer Applications course. So do not worry. Even with PCME background, you can study BCA.
