Hi dear,
You should clear the concept of any topic.Any book provides you practice and some concept. If anybody completes MS Chauhan or OP Tondon that doesn't mean that they clear AIIMS.Just focus on concept, and believe yourself.
Hope it helps
No. It is not necessary to complete these books if your concepts are clear and you have practiced enough questions.
The majority (95%) of the AIIMS exam will come from NCERTs, especially for Biology and Chemistry.
You just need to thoroughly practice questions for Physics, so that your concepts are clear. The Physics section of AIIMS exam is purely based on concepts and is the major deciding factor for ranks.
Also, be sure to practice assertion reasoning type questions. These are fundamental to the AIIMS exam.
You can practice all this through any book, and if you are confident, then no need to do OP Tandon.
All the best.
