You need to make your concept very strong for the aiims paper and previous years engineering question will help you to make your concepts for physics and chemistry strong. Since your main focus is on NEET, then I would suggest that keep your core concepts clear for the subjects which are there in Engineering exams and yess Previous year questions paper will help you getting an idea about the paper pattern also. So you can go ahead with the strategy you have in mind, just focus on the areas where you feel you need to work more.

Also I would suggest keep this fact clear in your mind that " Which one you like more, Biology or Mathematics?" 

If it is Maths then focus on them in such a way that you can crack the ENgineering exams and vice versa if you like Biology more.

Also try and appear for mock test for both JEE Main and NEET as that will help you getting clear with the paper pattern.
