GATE Examination is one of the leading exams to build up and successfully achieve your career goals. Now the marks that you obtained is 36-38 marks which is not that high to ensure seat into NIT or IITs. But yes your chances can only be predicted, cannot be concluded confidently, it depends on the factors like

• The number of students appeared in the exam
• The difficulty level of the exam
• The  vacancy seat matrix.

But yes being an SC category student with this marks you can expect the following streams like

1. Civil Engineering
2. Electronics and Communication Engineering
3. Mechanical Engineering
