I am studying in 12th now. I wish to know whether it's better to directly try for CA or complete B.Com. before going for CA?

Hello Applicant,

Though it is not absolutely necessary for you to go for B.Com to do CA. But, it will prove beneficial in some cases.

If you want to pursue a professional course like CA your primary focus should that only, in such a case pursuing B. com should be a secondary option. You can complete Bachelors of Commerce through correspondence along with CA.

The syllabus of CA is so vast that it will help you easily clear your B Com exams too.

Also in some places, a bachelors degree is a must for pursuing certain higher courses in India or abroad. So, it is only advisable to pursue it right now, because that might prove useful later.

Please mention what colleges you want to know about.
