hey,

cat stands for common aptitude test. it will be really wise to start preparing for cat exam now to get speed and learn about various questions. see there is many free lectures available for cat in you tube. study them, and every day spend 2 hours for listening lectures and practicing question. if you can release more time apart from your college and studies you may also increase the learning time. follow aptitude books by rs agarwal for quantitative, logical and verbal ability, data interpretation topics. you may follow the below link to know about question structure for cat exam.
