Hii

Yes you can go into tool designing after completing your Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. This course is in demand for Diploma holders in Mechanical Engineering. You can either do part time or full time course in this.

You can get the following job roles after this:
Piping Designer
Maintenance Engineer
Quality Mechanical Engineer

Apart from Tool Designing, you can even do specialisation in following courses:
CATIA
ANSYS
Hydraulics
Pneumatics
AutoCAD

If you want to go for B.Tech, you will have to give entrance exams for respective colleges. Few of them are:
JEE mains
MHTCET ( for Maharashtra )
TSEAMCET ( for Telangana )
GATE

The course duration may vary from course to course. If you want to go with B.Tech degree, it will take 4 years to complete the course. If you want to go with M.Tech, it would take 2 years. If you want to go with specialisation in any of the above fields, it will take 2-10 months of duration depending upon the specialisation you are taking.
