Hello,

As per the information Braces, Spectacles, Tattoo, hearing aid everything is allowed in the examination until and unless they are used as a medium to carry unfair means to the examination.

There is no prohibition in wearing braces for UPSC. There is no need to remove your braces before the exam if it is not necessary. Feel free and confident to give the paper and not let any other thoughts bother you.

Hope this helps,

All the best!

Hello,

It's not going to impact any way for appearing in UPSC, so please do not worry about such things, you just need to fulfill the eligibility criteria to have passed graduation in any field from a recognized university and attained 21 years age, you can apply even in final year. So, if you want to appear for UPSC, kindly focus on your preparation part and do not worry about these trivial stuffs.
