Not at all. Coaching is time consuming and not necessary at all. Buy 3 books. Nishit Sinha for LR and DI, Arun Sharma for Quants and his Verbal book. Try and complete these 3 books if you can and answer a few mocks and you'll be good to go. if you find that you cant understand anything you always have youtube to explain the concepts.

@Shivam: If you are giving CAT this year that is 2016, then don't. Give this attempt and once you get the manner, method and types of questions then you can re-appear next year. Because less time is left focus more on basics revision and mocks. All t
