GATE examination has no age limit. The minimum eligibility criteria is that the candidate is required to have passed graduation in engineering/technology or a master’s degree in any relevant science subject. Candidates in the pre-final or final year of their qualifying degree also eligible to appear for GATE 2022.

There are no age limits when it comes to applying or appearing for GATE. You can apply for it if you have either 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 educational background. However the competition is really high and so is the standard of examination. Since you have been out of the entrance examination realm for a few years I would suggest that you study hard and practice with a lot of mock tests. This will improve your speed and time management skills. Ofcourse you may opt for appearing in GATE as their are no age limits, and you also satisfy the Criteria of 10+2 and Graduation.

But Sir, I think having such a strong experience with a reputed conglomerate, at this age instead of going for Postgraduation or PSUs, you may just opt for an Executive MBA from some of the Top IIMs or Institutions like XLRI or SPJIMR. This will really give your career a boost. Most of the IIMs especially the Top 4-5 have really strong placement and job prospects for the PGP Executive Program.
