If you had applied for JEE exam in January also and want to apply for JEE exam in April also the marks which would be taken into consideration would be the best marks (highest) out of both the JEE exams during the time of counseling at Thapar Institute.

Hey aspirant, as per the news issued by the NTA the best of the two scores will be considered while admission process in the colleges.

I would suggest if you have not been able to score the required or considerable percentile in January mains then try to improve it in April paper. This way you will be able to improve your chances of getting admission in your preferred college.
