Hello  datish,

Below I've mentioned two good books for understanding the topic better:

  • Introduction to thermal systems engineering, by Moran, Shapiro, Dewitt, Munson.

  • Thermodynamics - An  engineering approach, by Cengel and Boles.

The topics like fundamentals of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, classical macroscopic thermodynamics and heat transfer are covered well in these books.

Hope this helps and all the very best to you!
