Yes, you are eligible to appear for NEET 2026 because the basic eligibility says you need to pass 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as core subjects. There’s no issue if you passed Chemistry with grace marks, as long as you’re marked as pass in your board results.

However, for MBBS admission in government medical colleges (GMCs) or AIIMS, the percentage criteria for the general category is 50% aggregate in PCB. Since your PCB aggregate is 52.31%, you meet that requirement too. So, you are eligible for NEET and for MBBS admission in GMCs and even AIIMS, provided you clear the NEET exam with the required cutoff.

Hey Reena,

Thanks for reaching out!

Yes ,you are eligible for NEET 2026.As per NTA guidelines candidate must score a minimum of 50% aggregate in PCB for general category(40% for reserved categories).since you're aggregate is 52.31% you meet the eligibility criteria.

However,MBBS in AIIMS or Government Medical Colleges is extremely competitive .Along with eligibility, you'll need a very high NEET score (600+ for AIIMS or GMCs) .So, focus on Strong NEET preparation to improve your chances.

Your board percentage makes you eligible. Now your NEET score will decide your MBBS seat.

Hello Reena

For appearing in NEET 2026, you should have passed your class 12th with a minimum aggregate score of 50% in PCB. As you already have 52.31%, which is more than the minimum percentage required, you are certainly eligible for NEET 2026.

For the 5 grace marks in Chemistry, NEET doesn't have specific requirements regarding grace marks and as your board (be it be CBSE or State Board) has given it to you, there shouldn't be any problem with NEET or with colleges like AIIMS or GMC.

So you are definitely eligible for NEET 2026 and to study in colleges like AIIMS & GMC.
