Dear Madhan, if you want to study in Salem and haven't appeared for any Engineering entrance examination, you can still apply for TNEA Counselling conducted by Anna University for Engineering and Technology courses for its 563 participating Institutions. Anna University will open its online applicaitons tentatively during the first week of May and you can register online. Once you register online, you will be given a 10 digit random number which will be used for tie break situations. After registration, you will be alloted a facilitation centre where you need to get all the required documents verified. Then Anna University will open choice filling for Candidates and you can select colleges of your interest. During counselling, you will be given seats according to their merit list. TNEA is just a counselling process with no Entrance examination involved.
