Most ECE students get placed in IT companies. Now there are two ways to advance forward

One is you can do MBA as it is more helpful to have an MBA if you are looking to climb the corporate ladder. 

Second is MTECH which you wish to do. If you don't have specific problem with program language which most ece students have then you should first finish a few online courses on Advanced JAVA or other advanced coding languages to be onpar with the other computer students so that the competition in MTECH will be of an equal playing field for you or else usually students crossing fields into MTECH struggle in their final year project when they lack basics in higher coding language. If you finish online courses on Coding and web development. then MTECH in IT or COMPS will be easier or shall i say less boring.

Thirdly is a suggestion but it's upto you to follow or not, that is see now that you have a job obviously you will look for a better job right?

if yes then try finding a company related to ECE after you finish your MTECH in ECE or VLSI. This way when you show your masters degree and your project, you'll have a higher chance of getting the job.

Hello manikanta, for you the best course in Mtech is Software Engineering stream, Because in btech you done your studies in ECE, there you have knowledge on basic software languages like C, C++, Java etc. but you don't know indepth knowledge on coding and software development. So its better to take software engineering stream in Mtech to gain knowledge in Software coding and development and helps to build future in IT field.
