it is an exam which is not connected to any of the courses be it any undergraduate program or any masters program.

It is just an independent exam which is written to gain admission in universities abroad such as USA, UK, Australia, Canada, etc.

So, it is a exam which has no link on your courses, it is just to check your fluency in the language of English.

So irrespective of which course you are applying abroad for, you can give this exam separately and get the scorecard and submit it to the university as per their requirement .
