The demand is high and hence the exam is required as qualifier to give the prestigiou seat to the deserved. Try for other colleges.

Chitkara School for Hospitality takes admissions on the basis of your rank in the entrance JEE NCHM. 

But they also take direct admissions against the vacant seats left, if any. So you can get admission through this if you  didn't take the  NCHMCR exam.
