If you did not fill JEE Mains application form in the OBC category, then the colleges/ branches you will get will be through the Common Merit List (CML) i.e. the GeneraL category, then you will not get the benefits of reservation during the time of counselling. However, I would suggest you to drop a mail at  jeemain-nta@nic.in, explaining your situation that you do have the caste certificate. So if you belong to OBC NCL category, then after proper online verification the NTA authorities may allow you to change it now and you'll have to produce the original certificates during counselling.

No if you don't fill in jee  form then it will not be applicable for you during time of counseling. If you can edit the form now then you can get it otherwise you will be in unreserved category. Best of luck.
