Yes, you can completely do MBA in Hospital Management. As FMGE is a licensing exam that is for foreign Medical graduates must need to pass to practice medicine in India.

MBA in Hospital Management is a management degree, not a medical practice licence. For pursuing this course you just need a bachelor's degree in any field with minimum marks 50% above in most Universities.

Without passing FMGE still there are many career scopes after MBA such as:

- Hospital Administrator

Hello

yes, even if you haven’t passed the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE), you can still pursue an MBA in Hospital Management. FMGE is only required if you wish to register and practice medicine in India after earning a medical degree from abroad. An MBA in Hospital Management is a management program, not a clinical one, so it does not require a medical license. Many students from different backgrounds — including non-medical graduates — opt for this program to work in healthcare administration, hospital operations, medical tourism, health insurance, and related sectors. However, do keep in mind that without FMGE, you won’t be eligible to practice as a doctor in India, so your role after the MBA would be non-clinical. Top institutes offering MBA in Hospital Management include :

  • Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS),
  • AIIMS (Executive programs),
  • Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences,
  • Apollo Institute of Hospital Administration.

Best wishes for your next academic step, and thank you for reaching out!

Yes, you can pursue an MBA in Hospital Management even if you haven't passed the FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination). FMGE is a licensing exam for practicing medicine in India, and it's not a requirement for pursuing a management degree like an MBA. You can still use your MBBS degree from a foreign university as a relevant qualification for an MBA in Hospital Management.

FMGE not relevant to pursuing a management degree. FMGE failure prevents you from practicing medicine, you can still work in various healthcare management and an MBA in Hospital Management typically requires a bachelor's degree in any discipline, including medicine roles.
