Hello Aspirant!

As per the NEET application form, there are only 5 categories which as follows:

• General
• OBC-NCL
• SC
• ST
• GEN-EWS

OBC is categorized as 2 category OBC-CL and OBC -NCL.

If you belong under OBC-NCL and satisfies the conditions of this category, you can apply for OBC-NCL certificate and select the category as OBC-NCL. It is not necessary at the time of filling application. If you are satisfying the conditions of OBC-NCL, you can apply it. This certificate is only necessary during the time of counselling.

If you don't fall under OBC-NCL, then you belong to OBC-CL. As per the category list, there is no category for OBC-CL. Then you must select General category in NEET Application form.
