Hello there,
I understand your concern admission processes can be tricky. When you freeze a seat in CAP round 2, it usually means you have confirmed your choice and opted out of later rounds. If you don’t physically report to the allotted college within the deadline, your admission is considered cancelled. In most cases, after cancellation, you cannot participate in further CAP rounds for that year. However, some admission authorities conduct “spot rounds” or “institutional vacancy rounds” towards the end, where leftover seats are filled, and you might get another chance. Rules can vary between states and universities, so I strongly suggest contacting your counselling cell or visiting their official helpdesk immediately. Quick action might still give you an opportunity. If they confirm you are not eligible this year, you might need to reapply next year, but at least you will know the exact situation.

Hello Aspirant,
If you confirmed your seat in CAP Round 2 but did not report to the assigned college before the deadline, your admission has been cancelled and you will no longer be eligible to participate in further CAP rounds in the current admission cycle. If you attempted to seek admission again, you will have to apply as a new applicant in the next admission cycle.
