Hello mark,

If am not misinterpreting your question you mean to ask whether or not if you have done Btech in production engineering you can write GATE exam or not or are eligible for it or not , then yes you are eligible to opt for masters of your choice through btech in production engg but yes you have gate eligibility criteria for it necessarily.

Hello student, hope you are doing well!

Yes you are eligible for GATE. According to GATE'S Eligibility criteria, you have to pass graduation in any engeenering streams or technology streams. So if you have completed your graduation course this year, let it be bachelor's or master's you can sit for the entrance test in 2020.
