With 85 Percentile in JEE Main 2021, assuming you are from Uttar Pradesh State, you have fair chances in securing one of the Good Technical Institutes under UPSEE (AKTU Uttar Pradesh) having good infrastructure, faculty and a good employer outlook.

However, I would advise you to currently concentrate on the rest sessions of JEE Main. Target securing anywhere near 93-95 Percentile by your Final Session, followed by securing a seat at one of the Good State or Government Engineering Colleges with great career scope and placement prospects.

You got 85% in JEE Mains 1st phase 2021, You get engineering college but which is not government college. But you can get private college in this rank. I'll provide you a link below you can check it for more college details in UP. But you didn't mention which category student you are. If you are general category student then cutoff marks is 90%. So you have to give the 2nd phase of JEE Mains examination 2021.
