I got 15marks in internal and 25 marks in external ,total 40 marks ,it is considered to pass or not?

Hello,
Most universities or institutions requires you to pass separately in both the internal and external examination with a minimum of 40% grades in both papers. Hence 40% marks as a total of both grades is not considered pass. You have to get a minimum of 40% in your external paper to pass the examination.
