Hi Amit!

For BVSc at Birsa Agricultural University (BAU), seats are limited and general category cutoffs are usually around 1300–1600 depending on the year. With a rank of 1614, your chance is on the edge, but still possible in later rounds or spot counselling. It depends on seat matrix of 2025 especially if any students withdraw ,and how many general seats are left unfilled.

So don’t lose hope. Attend all rounds, keep documents ready, and stay in touch with BAU’s official counselling updates. Even if not in the first list, there’s a chance you may get a call in subsequent ones.

Thank you and wishing you all the best!

If your JCECE general rank is 1614, getting a BVSc seat in BAU might be a bit difficult because the cutoff for BVSc under the general category usually stays much lower. But I would still suggest you attend the counselling rounds. Sometimes in later rounds or spot rounds, there can be chances if seats remain vacant or if cutoff goes down slightly. So don’t lose hope and keep checking the updates regularly.

HELLO,

With a JCECE rank of 1614 in the General category, your chances of getting a BVSc seat in Birsa Agricultural University (BAU), Ranchi are low but not impossible. BVSc is highly competitive, and seats are very limited, with most seats filled by candidates with lower ranks (generally under 1000 for General category).

You can still attend the counselling rounds, as seat availability after the first round or withdrawals might give you a chance in later rounds.

Hope this Helps!

Hi dear candidate,

With the rank of 1614 in JECE entrance exam of Jharkhand, it is unlikely that you will get admission in the Birsa Agricultural University for Bachelor's of Veterinary Science as the cut off is generally lower than your rank. The cut off trends in previous year was around 500 for general category. You should look for other private colleges that allows direct admission for BVSc.
