No,with a rank of 17000 rank in SC category you will not be able to get an admission into any of the NIT into any of the branches.Evn though it is a least prefered NIT or a least prefered branch,by having this rank you cannot get an admission into an NIT for sure.You may try to get admission into other universities.You can go to the careers360 website to get more information about the closing ranks.
