Hello, as you have not mentioned your category so I am assuming you to be in general category and at this rank chances are less as south Nit are top Nit of India and cutoff of these branches are very high.
If you have home state quota in any  South Nit it may help you.

Also, Cutoff for IIIT are very high. You may get these branches in South IIIT but wait till last round of Csab counseling which takes place after Jossa counseling.

First of all you must mention your category that from which category you have secured this much rank now as yuming that you have secured 18887 rank in JEE mains from your general category then congratulations you can get many good branches in the south nits.

The southern nits that you can get on basis of your general rank is :-

Nit trichy -production engineering

Nit surathkal - metallurgical and materials engineering, mining engineering, and has chances to get civil engineering

Nit calicut - biotechnology, civil engineering, chemical engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, and production engineering.

Nit warangal - biotechnology and metallurgical and materials engineering.

Nit andhra pradesh - biotechnology, chemical engineering, civil engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering , mechanical engineering,.electrical and electronics engineering, metallurgical and materials engineering


As you are not mention your home state so I'm assuming you from some other state.
So as you can see that only in NIT Andhra Pradesh ( in South side ) you will get electronics and communication engineering branch from your general category rank if you belong from other state.
But you cannot get CSE branch in any of the southern NITs.

Also you cannot get cse in South iiits. But in csab there might be a chance that you can get ece or cse in southern iiits.
