I got 2229 All India Rank in NIMCET and 768 rank in obc category. I want to know if admission will be purely based on AIR rank or not?

Hello Aspirant,
There are 11 NITs participating in NIMCET 2019. The filling of seats takes place in four rounds.The seats are alloted on merit rank of NIMCET you need to get 60% or 6.5 CGPA in B.Sc /B.com/B.tech. And the merit students can take part in counseling.

They will take both ranks into consideration if you get admission through AIR the vacant seat in your category will be given to another guy from your category with his category rank.If you get low AIR then you will be alloted a seat with your category rank.
