I got 28000 rank in jee mains. Will I get any good nit in general category??

You can get LOWER NITs .. With good branch ... But always check the scope and teaching in those college..

A big YES.

With AIR 28000, you can get into many new NIT, especially NE NITs.
You can very well get into NITs like NIT Meghalaya., NIT Mizoram , NIT Nagaland etc.

You can even get so called "Main stream Branch" in them.

Hope you take wise decision.
