 I can only tell you that on the basis of the given rank that you have scored in SRMJEE, you will not be able to get any good branch like CSE, MECH ,IT EEE, ECE branch in any of the campuses of SRM UNIVERSITY on merit basis. Though students securing ranks upto 60K are being considered and are being called for COUNSELLING,yet the selection might be tough. You can't expect the main campus i.e Chennai, for any branch but still the probablilty of getting selected in mechanical branch at the other campuses(Amravati,Sonepat), except the main campus would be around 1 out of 10. 

The only possibility of getting admission in your desired branch i.e the main campus at SRM UNIVERSITY(CHENNAI) is through managment quota.

For that you need to contact undersigned counselor,who could provide you with the necessary details for admission at SRM UNIVERSITY. For enquiry ,contact Mr.Sudhir- 07305459823. He has been associated with the management department in SRM university for the past ten years,so he can provide you with the the terms and procedure.
