As this year ews quota is newly implemented so its difficult to assure you that with this score even you can get top  nit or not.

But yes you can definitely get admission into nits but not sure about the core branches in top nits like trichy , warangal , suratkal etc.

If optioning for lower nits then you can get core branch to pursue.

Yes definitely, with this rank you can definitely get an NIT college.As the rank required to get admission in different nit college is under 1lakh.As your rank is near 3000.With this there are full chances of getting any NIT. so, According to me you should definitely apply for the admission there. You can also apply for IIT with this rank.
