See...your percentile score in jEE mains is not so good, 40 percentile isnot considered enough to be admitted in good colleges under BCECE.
And as you are an general candidate, so it becomes more difficult for you.
But ofcurse many new college have joined BCECE ,you can try for them.
But surely you would not be able to good a good college.
So participate in BCECE counselling .
