If you have got 250 marks in mains you can easily get into most of the nits with prefered branch.

But my hsc marks 426 only and the nits can eligible for 75 percentage

Sorry i was not familiar with hsc board. The criteria is you have to get 75% above combined in these 4 subjects i.e math, physics , language, chemistry, any other subject. Or you have to be in top 20 percentile in the board result.
