Based on your rank and caste you can expect the following colleges-

NIT Puducherry, CS
NIT Srinagar, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Mechanical, Chemical
NIT Hamirpur, most of the courses

Hello Rakesh,
Unfortunately with a rank of 44k getting into NIT college is difficult unless you have home state quota. Inspite of home state quota you will get low tier NIT colleges in eastern side. Also iiit colleges will be of low tier for admission. You can try applying for colleges which accept Jee main percentile for admission such as BITS, MIIT, SCIT, Amity university, Thapar university and so on.
