Hi Akanksha

  • When you attempt mock tests, make sure you are analysing the paper afterwards.
  • Mark questions where you lacked clarity of concept. Now with little time left, there is little you can do about these mistakes.
  • Mark questions where you knew the concept, but committed errors. This is where you can make a huge difference, try revising these chapters nicely.
  • Mark questions where you committed silly mistakes (in calculation, marking correct choice etc.). Analyse- were you thinking about some other question at that time? Why was your attention diverted? Think and improve upon your attention.
  • Lastly, attempt the tests in a timed manner, on a table as you would in the real exam. Give yourself 20 mins less than the actual exam. This time would most probably get eaten up due to exam pressure on the D-Day.

These tips really helped me ace JEE Mains. Good luck!

Hello ,

For increasing marks only way is to practice questions . But for that you need to have all the concepts clear and should know concepts and logic behind theory .

Now first thing is you must have proper knowledge of topics which you should study , all the concepts in them so if you don't know all the concepts please try to clear that first .

After that you should make a schedule for practicing questions and mock test . You should study atleast 6 hrs a day and also try to give additional 3hr mock test regularly and try to analyse the mistake you commited in the privious mock test and try to correct them . It is very difficult to improve a lot in just short period of time but not impossible so you can try and sine you are an SC candidate also having female quota if you are able to score around 150 it is enough for you to get into an NIT easily .

So, you may have less time but you can improve practice harder and try to implement above mentioned points .

There are also many other options apart from JEE for you so if you don't get qualified don't be sad ok other options are available .

Good Luck .

Hii!
At this moment, it would be helpful for you to increase your marks in the mock test and the exam finally, if you solve more and more previous year question papers and question banks related to each subject.  This will help you get an idea of the type of questions appearing in the exam, and in a way set a tone for you to be prepared for the exam.
Clear your basics too, side by side.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!
