As per your rank in JEE Mains 2019 and considering you belong to general category, you cannot get a seat in any of the NITs unless you belong to any north-eastern states. If you do so, then you can surely get a seat in north-east NITs or the chances are very slim for you in any of the remaining NITs. But you do have private colleges as an option in accordance with your rank such as Thapar, LNMIIT, JIIT etcetera. If you have applied for any of these, do consider them as a back-up option in case you don't get NITs. Also you can apply for state government colleges and private institutions. Good luck.

It is literally impossible to get good branches in nits but considering you a general category student then there are high chances for u to get north eastern nits like nit manipur,nit arunachal pradesh etc in not too good branches in the first 7 rounds.

But you can get branches like electrical ,ETC and mechanical in the special rounds
