i got 66% in 12th class and i want to do btech .....

Hello Bikram, if you want to do B.tech then go for it. But make sure to do things which will make you stand apart from the rest of the crowd. Every year almost 7 lakh engineers graduate from various colleges and universities. So in future if you want to get a good job then start preparing for it from the very first year of the college/university.

Yes, you can easily get into a private engg college by either clearing a particular state jee where 12th % criteria is 40% or 50%, or simply by management quota if you have money.

It will depend upon following:

your Engineering entrance exam score,

your marks in PCM,

your category plus
